What’s the Ford Falcon XB Coupe?

Produced exclusively by Ford Australia between 1973 and 1976 it featured minor cosmetic differences from the XA, giving it a more muscular stance. First-time equipment offerings included standard front disc brakes and an available carpeted interior..

  • A Grand Sport Rally Pack (bonnet scoops, striping, GS insignia and GT instrumentation) was available on Falcon 500,Future and Fairmont models.
  • Famous victories include John Goss’s win at the 1974 Bathurst 1000, and Moffat’s 1976 Australian Touring Car Championship win driving an XB Falcon GT Hardtop.
