Hi Deanna. Nice car, how long have you owned it?
I have owned it for about three months, and it’s been the best three months ever!

Most young women don’t drive late-model Holdens, what made you decide to get one?
I had always wanted one and everyone said I was a dreamer, so I said to dad, should we go have a look? I wanted a black V8 six-speed manual or nothing at all!

I saw this black Clubsport and had to have it; the fact that it was black and manual was very rare. It’s awesome having a V8 that many males dream of, ha ha!

Have you done any modifications to it?
I have just had it lowered at this stage.

Any more plans?
I was thinking 20-inch deep-dish wheels wouldn’t go amiss, even a slightly louder exhaust would be awesome, too.

What do you like most about the Clubsport?
The power it has. It’s insane and very addictive. I want it faster. Having such a nice, powerful car to drive, I can’t help but go fast everywhere.

Do people think you are driving your dad’s car?
Yes, I’m sure everybody thinks I am driving my daddy’s car; even my dad thinks I am, which is why I have put my plates on it.

Everywhere I go the look on everyone’s face when they see a young girl driving makes me laugh.

If you weren’t driving this, what would you be driving?
I wouldn’t mind a Holden HSV GTS, W427 or an R8.

Nice choices. Had any speeding tickets yet? Or smiled nicely and got your way out of them?
I haven’t been caught yet. Hopefully the cop will understand why I was driving so fast, and I will be able to talk my way out of it. It shouldn’t be that hard, after all, I am a girl!

Any advice for other girls thinking of buying something similar?
Definitely have to get a Holden V8 manual, you’ll love it and have so much fun.

Don’t waste your time looking at Fords. You will never go back from a V8.
